Sony after launching successfully the most awaited Sony Waterproof Xperia Tablet Z worldwide. It's time to turn to Smartphone following the extension of the flagship Sony Xperia Z and introduces the new Sony Xperia ZR waterproof and dust proof Smartphone simply to get touch with the people all around the world with its unique innovative.
Sony officially announced that the new Xperia ZR is expected to launch by 15th of June, 2013 this year. However, the phone hasn't released in the market but it's getting a huge response from the people through the online e-commerce sites. Lots of buyers booked their Xperia ZR from now onward which will be delivered within 1-2 days of shipping as soon as it will available in their stock.
Coming back to the point, Sony Xperia ZR comes with a 4.6-inch HD Reality LCD screen and a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Upgrading the old styled display technology with a new 'OptiContrast' panel which removes the gap between the screen and the touch sensor by integrating the sensor on the main panel itself. The new Sony waterproof phone comes with a BRAVIA display like Xperai series phones.
The Sony Xperia ZR phone runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.1 and it comes with a 13 MP rear camera with Exmor RS. Not only that the Sony ZR offers 16x digital zoom with auto focus. Apart from that it facilitates video call chat embedding VGA camera in front facing. Xperia ZR has a shutter button on the side of the camera similar to Sony Xperia Z tablet. With the high end waterproof camera shoots video in full high definition as well as capture shots under the deep water using the most of the waterproof capabilities.
To run your application and data with simpler and faster it comes embedded with the latest 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Quad Core Processor & 2GB RAM with an 8GB internal memory isn't a good enough memory for any users to have with it. Well it can be expandable up to 32 GB MicroSD. The phone connectivity is NFC, USB port, Bluetooth, WI-Fi, GPRS, EDGE. It is said the battery will be more powerful and will provide long battery back up and it comes with 'Stamina' mode which keeps the battery life longer.
The new Sony Xperia ZR phone will be available in four colors like Black, White, Pink and Mint.And the price of Xperia ZR will be around USD $520 and in INR Rs.30,000.
