Vodafone Discover New Tracking Vehicles Tech in 2013

Vodafone world's leading telecom operator has discovered new tracking vehicle technology in 2013. This year Voda globally
active in Automotive Telematics who released Mahindra's Reva e20 car a few months back in April.
Will this concept tracking tech will be effective at the forthcoming third national conference - Telematics India 2013. At this stage, Vodafone using SIM card to trace location of any people within 25-50 meters in Urban areas where the density of a base station is more and for the rural areas it extends the boundaries limited up to few hundred meters.
In fact, the Vodafone tracking vehicles are mainly targeted to business tycoons who can utilize such services for tracing their asset during exporting to other countries. Well these services were being appreciated by the different government sectors proving helpful on the use of vehicle telematics in India.
PDS and Civil supplies wherein the Central Government is mandating extensive usage of tracking system. Similarly Oil & gas, PSUs like coal India and state transport corporations have already carried out pilot projects of installing vehicle tracking devices in their transport vehicles.
